Illness On The Mercury Cruise Liner

Irwin Mitchell has received reports that over 300 passengers have been struck by symptoms of gastric illness during their cruise on board the Mercury Cruise Liner, operated by Celebrity Cruise Lines.
The Ship was travelling from South Carolina to the Carribean and departed on 15 February 2010 and is due to return on 26 February 2010.
It is reported that significant numbers of holidaymakers have become ill with symptoms of gastric illness including diarrhoea. Stool samples have been taken to determine the cause of illness.
