Accident Abroad - Plane Crash
123 passengers and 7 crew were on board the One-Two-Go McDonnell Douglas plane which crashed, broke into two parts and burst into flames as it struggled to land in bad weather on 16th September 2007. 89 people died in the crash, including 8 Britons.
Irwin Mitchell have been instructed by relatives of some of the deceased British, Irish and Australian nationals as well as by some of those who were injured.
The case is currently at an investigative stage, with the likely cause of the crash being either pilot error or faulty maintenance. Proceedings are contemplated against both the owner of the aircraft and the carrier."
