Holiday Accident Claim
We are currently acting for a group of thirty one passengers who were injured, and the relatives of a passenger who sadly died in a coach accident in Germany, February 2005.
The party of British tourists were being driven to their holiday destination, Mayrhofen, Kirchdorf, Austria, when the driver lost control of the coach on the Federal Motorway 6, near Gruenstadt, Germany. The coach crashed into the central barrier of the motorway and toppled onto its left hand side. It skidded along the road before coming to rest on the wrong side of the carriageway.
Many passengers were seriously injured. A claim has been brought against the tour operator, Cantabrica, who have admitted liability for the accident. We have obtained interim payments on behalf of our clients and we have now managed to agree settlement on behalf of all clients in this group following negotiations with the tour operator’s insurers. We managed to recover over half a million pounds in compensation for those clients who were more seriously injured. In total, we have recovered almost three quarters of a million pounds in compensation for the clients injured in this accident.
