Italian Coach Crash 2008

In June 2008 seven British tourists were injured when the coach that they were travelling in crashed near the town of Naples, in Italy.  The coach was transporting holidaymakers who were taking part in a day trip to Naples.

It is alleged that an Italian driver was overtaking on the opposite side of the road and collided with the coach which caused it to crash into the wall of the tunnel through which it was travelling.

Cattolica Assicurazioni, the insurers of the coach, have confirmed that they will settle all claims without prejudice to liability.

We are acting for 7 clients who suffered multiple injuries including whiplash, bruising, soft tissue and psychological injuries and we are continuing to negotiate with the insurers of the coach in respect of the value of their claims.
