Irwin Mitchell has received reports of gastric illness amongst holidaymakers after staying at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island, New Province Island, in the Bahamas, during June 2010.
It is reported that holidaymakers became ill possibly due to the poor food hygiene standards at the hotel. Complaints from guests suggest that the food was not properly chilled, it was repetitive and of a poor quality at a number of the restaurants at the hotel. A number of quality issues have also been alleged, suggesting that the hotel is dirty and poorly maintained.
If you have been affected by gastric illness following a stay at this hotel, you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday and also the pain and suffering caused by the illness.
