Irwin Mitchell have been made aware that a couple celebrating their thirtieth wedding anniversary, have fallen ill with serious gastric conditions after staying at the Baobab Beach Resort in Kenya. The safari was to be a double celebration, a thirtieth wedding anniversary and fiftieth birthday, however, the trip ended in the couple contracting illness from which the couple continue to suffer.
The couple’s celebration was completely ruined. The couple have complained that there were poor standards of health and hygiene implemented at the hotel especially in relation to the service of food.
The couple reported complaints of undercooked and uncovered food being served, as well as food being recycled on a number of occasions.
The couple suffered symptoms of diarrhoea and stomach cramps during their stay. Further, the clients are continuing to suffer from the illnesses contracted with such illnesses continuing to impact upon their daily lives.
