As one of the more developed counties in the Caribbean, Barbados has become a popular tourist destination. The island has a number of sandy beaches, golf courses and night-life around Saint Lawrence Gap.
A number of British Tour Operators send thousands of British tourists to Barbados each year, often to all-inclusive hotels. Sadly a number of these tourists are taken ill.
