Irwin Mitchell has received reports of illness, believed to be food poisoning, amongst guests staying at the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Canada. Recent reports relate to holidays taken in October 2011.
Whilst holidaymakers have suggested that the hotel’s location cannot be beaten, they were disappointed with the hotel as the rooms were tired and carpets appeared to be dirty, suggesting that they were in need of replacing.
It is believed that the illnesses contracted were food poisoning, ruining the holiday. It is possible that the illnesses were due to a breakdown in food hygiene and food handling procedures.
