Irwin Mitchell read reports of a outbreak of Norovirus at the Victoria Hotel in Canada stating that over 150 guests have contracted Norovirus at this hotel with symptoms including diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps. Murray Fyfe, chief medical officer for the Vancouver Island Health Authority described events at the Victoria Hotel as “a really significant outbreak”.
