Irwin Mitchell has recently received alarming reports of guests falling ill with gastric illness whilst holidaying at the Riu Touareg in Cape Verde. Recent reports are from January 2012.
Reports indicate that the food was served cold, repetitive and left uncovered for a long period of time. Further complaints suggest that holidaymakers suffered from abdominal pain, diarrhoea and vomiting which led to guests being confined to there hotel rooms.
It is possible that the illness was contracted due to a breakdown in food handling procedures at the all inclusive resort.
If you also travelled to this resort and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you if you have suffered from gastric illness after staying at this hotel.
