Carnival Cruise Lines' Carnival Ecstasy

It is reported that as many as 60 passengers were injured when the Carnival Ecstasy Cruise Ship listed due to an undetected object which was adrift at sea.

It is reported that the Cruise liner, operated by Carnival Cruise Lines took avoiding action to avoid the object at sea causing the ship to list injuring passengers onboard.

It is understood that all of the passengers were treated onboard the ship.

When the incident happened the ship was on the last leg of a five night cruise of the Western Carribean which commenced on 17 April 2010.
