Irwin Mitchell has received enquiries from holidaymakers who suffered gastric illness during their stay on board the Island Escape cruise liner during the Mediterranean Spirit voyage in May and June 2010.
Irwin Mitchell have acted on behalf of 188 clients who holidayed on board this vessel during various cruises over the past few years, most recently, during a voyage around the Mediterranean in March 2010, and so we are concerned to learn that these issues are continuing.
It is reported that a number of holidaymakers became ill possibly due to the poor hygiene standards on board the cruise liner.
