Louis Majesty Cruise Ship

It is reported that 2 holidaymakers have been killed and a number injured when large waves hit the Louis Majesty Cruise Ship causing severe damage to the ship and serious injuries to those onboard.

The cruise ship, operated by Louis Cruise Lines was sailing between Barcelona and Genoa in Italy when it was hit by a series of high waves just off Cabo de San Sebastian near Spain earlier this week.

Passengers were injured as the waves hit and caved in windows onboard the ship. Injuries included broken limbs and lacerations from falling glass and debris. Two holidaymakers died as a result of their injuries before medical assistance could be obtained.

If you also travelled onboard this ship and suffered injury, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the injury that you sustained.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact Irwin Mitchell on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.
