Irwin Mitchell has received reports of an outbreak of gastric illness onboard the Sapphire Princess Cruise Liner which is operated by Princess Cruise Lines.
It is reported that almost 100 passengers became ill with symptoms of gastric illness after travelling onboard the cruise ship at the start of June 2010. The Ship was cruising around Alaska, managing to stop at 3 Alaskan ports.
It is reported that the cruise ship underwent ad sanitization programme as the cruise ended prior to new passengers boarding for the next cruise. Reports suggest that the cruise liner was 2 hours late in departing for its next voyage due to the ship undergoing intense cleaning procedures.
If you also travelled onboard this ship and suffered from gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.
