Illness Onboard Thomson Destiny Cruise, Italy

It has been reported that holiday makers have become ill with symptoms of the norovirus after going on the Thomson Destiny Cruise in Italy in August 2009.

Guests have reportedly become ill with symptoms of sickness and diarrhoea possibly due to poor standards of hygiene on the cruise. Guests claim that the food served to them was consistently cold. Guests allege that they were confined to their cabin for days without receiving adequate care and attention. The hygiene standards were poor and guests noticed that their bed linen and rooms were not cleaned adequately or regularly.

Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from anyone affected by this incident.
