It has been reported that holidaymakers who returned from the Barcelo Cayo Santa Maria Beach & Colonial Resort in Cayo Maria, Cuba have suffered from holiday illness.
It is reported that holidaymakers were falling ill with severe stomach cramps, sickness and diarrhoea at the hotel. One particular report suggests that the food was terrible which is likely to have been the cause of the illness. It has also been reported that a child was bedridden for two days of the holiday due to the holiday illness. It is likely that undercooked food and lack of hygiene and food handling procedures at the hotel could be the cause of food poisoning at this resort.
If you also travelled to this hotel and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you if you have suffered from gastric illness after staying at this hotel.
