Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers who have recently stayed at the all inclusive Iberostar Lugana Azul in Cuba. It has been reported that guests who stayed at the resort have been suffering from symptoms of gastric illness believed to be food poisoning during April 2012.
It has been suggested that the food served at the buffets was reheated and left uncovered with flies and insects landing frequently on the food. It is possible that due to a breakdown in food hygiene and handling procedures, holidaymakers may have contracted food poisoning from the food they consumed at the hotel. This calls into question the health and hygiene practices at the hotel and raises concerns about the adequacy of their cleaning practices.
If you also travelled to this resort and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
