Sol Palmeras Hotel, Varadero

Irwin Mitchell has hear various complaints from holidaymakers who travelled to the Sol Palmeras Hotel in Varadero, Cuba, during June 2010 after their holidays were not of the standards promised. Subsequently, a number of guests have reported suffering from symptoms of gastric illness.

Recent reports have indicated that large numbers of holidaymakers are falling ill with symptoms of gastric illness, possibly as a result of poor hygiene standards and the poor quality of food provided at the hotel. Reports have described the food as disgusting, with flies crawling over the food and the chef handling both raw meat and undercooked meat simultaneously.

Other complaints have been made in relation to the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel, reporting that there were holes in the walls, red stains on the floor, dirty towels and stained bed sheets covered in hair. In addition, it is reported that there were cockroaches infesting the complex.

If you also travelled to this hotel and suffered from gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.
