Irwin Mitchell has recently received alarming reports of guests falling ill with gastric symptoms whilst holidaying at the Blau Costa Verde Beach Resort, Cuba. Recent reports are from January 2012.
Holidaymakers have complained that the food served was of a poor standard and was left uncovered for long periods of time with fresh food being added to the pre-existing food.
Reports indicate that it is possible that the gastric illness contracted by the holidaymakers is due to a breakdown in food handling and hygiene procedures at the all inclusive resort.
