Reports have been received of an outbreak of suspected food poisoning at the Hotel Oasis Turquesa in Cuba for holidaymakers who travelled to the hotel in February 2010.
It is reported that over 100 holidaymakers have become ill with symptoms of gastric illness, with some requiring hospitalisation as a result of their symptoms. It is thought that their illness was caused by food consumed at the hotel.
A range of quality issues in relation to the hotel and hygiene standards are also reported.
