Illness at Iberostar Tainos Hotel, Cuba

Irwin Mitchell has received enquiries from holiday makers who have suffered gastric illness following their stay at the Iberostar Tainos Hotel in Cuba in November and December 2008.

Guests at the hotel have suffered with symptoms of gastric illness possibly linked to the food consumed as part an all inclusive package.

Complaints have consisted of foods in the buffet area being left uncovered and left out all day, chicken and turkey was pink near the bone and not cooked properly. There were birds flying in and out of the restaurant.
