Irwin Mitchell has been approached by guests of the Holiday Village Aliathon Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus, who have been injured by umbrellas during their summer holidays this year.
We have received complaints that umbrellas provided by the hotel next to the children’s pool have been blown out of their bases and into guests, causing them injury. The guests allege that the umbrellas were not secured into their bases, and that their accidents could have been prevented.
Such accidents are not uncommon during the summer, and Irwin Mitchell has experience of successfully recovering compensation for clients that have been injured by unsecured umbrellas. Such claims can often be brought against a UK tour operator if your holiday was booked as a package.
If you have been injured in similar circumstances, contact us to discuss your claim on 0800 056 0066 or complete our claim form.
