Irwin Mitchell has received reports of illness amongst holidaymakers after staying at the Be Live Grand Oasis Marien in the Dominican Republic.
It is reported that a number of holidaymakers have fallen ill with diarrhoea and stomach cramps following their stay at this hotel. There are claims that at least twenty guests have been affected with food poisoning. It has been suggested that many people were hospitalised as a result of their illness. Reports suggest that the food on display was sub-standard and many holidaymakers suffered from symptoms of gastric illness after eating food provided by the hotel. This is possibly as a result of the suggested breakdown in food handling and hygiene procedures.
