Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers travelling to the Dreams Punta Cana Hotel, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic after receiving reports of illness amongst guests following holidays taken in October 2011.
It has been reported that the food is of a poor standard and that there were concerns that food was being reheated. It has been suggested that the fish dishes smelled bad and that other meats were extremely tough.
Possibly due to a breakdown in food handling and hygiene procedures, holidaymakers have reported how they fell ill experiencing symptoms of stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhoea. The symptoms were so severe that the affected guests sought treatment from the local doctor who diagnosed them with food poisoning. Upon investigating the illness further, guests discovered that a large number guests fell ill.
If you also travelled to this resort and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you if you have suffered from gastric illness after staying at this hotel.
