Illness at the Ocean Blue Hotel, Bavaro, Dominican Republic

Irwin Mitchell has been approached to act for holidaymakers who stayed at the Ocean Blue Hotel, Bavaro in the Dominican Republic.

The holidaymakers said that they fell ill with gastric symptoms including vomiting and diarrhoea, and we are aware that other guests reported falling ill with similar symptoms. One of our clients has been confirmed as suffering salmonella.  The holidaymakers have alleged that hygiene standards in the hotel were extremely poor and staff members were often rude and unhelpful.
