The International Travel Litigation team at Irwin Mitchell are concerned for holidaymakers after reading reports of illness amongst guests staying at the ClubHotel Riu Merengue in the Dominican Republic. Recent reports relate to January 2012.
Complaints from holidaymakers suggest that the food was severed at an insufficient temperature and was very repetitive. Further complaints suggest that the food in general was of a poor quality.
Reports indicate that the cause of gastric illnesses may have been due to the poor quality of food and lack of hygiene standards practised at the resort.
If you also travelled to this resort and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you if you have suffered from gastric illness after staying at this hotel.
