Irwin Mitchell has been made aware of holidaymakers becoming ill with symptoms of gastric illness after visiting the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana Hotel in the Dominican Republic in early January 2009.
It is suggested that guests of the hotel have been affected by symptoms of alleged food poisoning possibly due to the food consumed at the hotel and poor standards of food hygiene.
It is thought that quality issues have also been raised by holidaymakers staying at this hotel.
