Aladdin Beach Hotel, Egypt

Irwin Mitchell has received reports of gastric illness amongst holidaymakers who are returning from the Aladdin Beach Hotel, in Egypt who holidayed during July 2010.

It is reported that holidaymakers' impressions were poor from the outset as the there was a large amount of construction work being undertaken close to the resort.

However, reports suggest that holidaymakers have become ill with suspected food poisoning, possibly due to the poor food hygiene standards practised at the hotel and issues with the quality of food consumed at the hotel. Holidaymakers have reported suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach cramps and sweats which lasted for the duration of their holiday. It is reported that the food served at the hotel was of a poor quality, being served undercooked and not kept at the correct temperature.

It is understood that towards the end of the holiday, the hotel's reception was offering free medical treatment for all guests who had suffered illness, suggesting that a large portion of the hotel had been effected.

Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you if you have suffered from gastric illness after staying at this hotel as you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.
