It has come to our attention that holiday makers have retuned home after staying at the Delta Sharm Resort Hotel, Sharm El Sheik, Egypt, with confirmed cases of salmonella.
Guests staying at the hotel have fallen ill with symptoms of gastric illness such as stomach pains and diarrhoea possibly caused by poor food and hygiene maintenance.
Guests have complained about the level of security at the resort and there have been reports of guests being followed back to their apartments. There have also been complaints that the cutlery and crockery was cleaned with using any detergent, that the floors in were not cleaned and that vermin present in the restaurant.
Irwin Mitchell urges anyone who has suffered with similar symptoms of gastric illness to those outlined above to contact them with details.
