Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers after we have been instructed by 2 clients who have returned from their holiday suffering from symptoms of gastric illness. Our clients stayed at the Hotel Harmony Makida Bay, Hurghadi, Egypt during September 2010.
Reports would suggest that our clients, along with a number of other holiday makers have become ill with gastric illness as a result of poor food hygiene standards and issues with the quality of food consumed at the hotel. Our clients have reported that the meat served at the hotel was undercooked and pink in the middle.
Irwin Mitchell are now investigating a claim against the Tour Operator, Thomas Cook, who sold the package holiday to our clients.
