Irwin Mitchell has been approached to act for holidaymakers who travelled to the Holiday Village Red Sea Hotel, Egypt in 2011 where dozens of guests appear to have fallen ill with unpleasant gastric illness.

These include unsanitary bathrooms which resulted in one family having to clean the bathroom themselves because of the distinct lack of cleaning staff at the hotel. Customers also complained of an overwhelming smell of sewage in most parts of the hotel. Poor air conditioning and hygiene issues with regards to food preparation have also been highlighted as a problem.
