Illness at the Albatross Palace, Hurghada

Irwin Mitchell has been approached to act for holidaymakers who travelled to the Albatross Palace in Hurghada, Egypt in June 2010, some of who fell ill with unpleasant gastric illness with at least holidaymaker having confirmed Salmonella and being treated in hospital in the UK.

The holidaymakers say that they fell ill with gastric symptoms including vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach cramps.  The holidaymakers have reported that food was often served only lukewarm, partially raw eggs and meat were served, and that the hotel was generally dirty.

If you have been affected by gastric illness following a stay at this hotel, you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday and also the pain and suffering caused by the illness.  For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.
