Guests at the hotel have suffered with symptoms of gastric illness, with confirmed cases of Salmonella, which are likely to be linked to food consumed as part of an all inclusive package.

There have been complaints from guests which suggest that there was a breakdown in health and hygiene standards. Reported complaints amongst others have included food being served cold, and flies being seen on and around the food.
