Irwin Mitchell is worried for holidaymakers who have recently returned from the Makadi Palace Hotel, Makadi Bay in Egypt during September 2011 after reading that they had fallen ill with symptoms of gastric illness, suspected to be food poisoning.
It has been suggested that the swimming pool was dirty and that the rooms were infested with ants and mosquitoes.
One holidaymaker has recalled how she saw a mouse in the restaurant on one evening, and then a rat the following evening. It may be that a breakdown in food hygiene procedures and general health and safety procedures at the hotel caused the illnesses amongst guests.
If you also travelled to this hotel and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you if you have suffered from gastric illness after staying at this hotel.
