Irwin Mitchell has received enquiries from holidaymakers who have suffered from gastric illness following their stay at the Movenpick Hotel in Taba, Egypt during April and May 2009.
Guests at the hotel have suffered with symptoms of gastric illness possibly linked to food consumed as part of an all inclusive package. There have been complaints from guests which suggest that there was a breakdown in health and hygiene standards. Reported complaints amongst others have included chicken being undercooked and meats and salads being inedible.
Irwin Mitchell is currently acting for 31 people who fell ill whilst at this resort in 2008. Complaints amongst this group included food being served undercooked and chicken being undercooked and bloody.
