Irwin Mitchell has received requests for assistance from holidaymakers who travelled to the Oriental Resort Hotel in Sharm el Sheikh Egypt and suffered illness in summer 2010.
It is reported that holidaymakers became ill possibly due to the failures in poor food hygiene standards at the hotel. Complaints include food not being heated correctly, cockroaches in the bar and a lack of running water. Eggs were also undercooked and food was not covered or refrigerated properly.
Irwin Mitchell are currently acting for a number of holiday makers who contracted illness following their holiday to this hotel in 2009. Holidaymakers are still continuing to suffer from illness to date following poor hygiene standards at this hotel. Holidaymakers complained of food being left uncovered, food was served undercooked and cold dishes were not refrigerated.
If you also travelled to this hotel and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be entitled to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.
