There have been reports gastric illness from holiday makers staying at the Park Inn, Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt in July 2009.
Irwin Mitchell LLP is currently acting for the Perkins family who contracted gastric illness as a result of their stay at the Park Inn Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in July 2009.
It is alleged that the family suffered from food poisoning possibly due to food consumed at the hotel. They stated that the food was undercooked and left uncovered and allege that some of the meat consumed was pink and had blood inside. The family reported seeing flies and other insects on food, filthy floors, unclean kitchen staff and a smell of sewage "throughout the complex". They also said that the hotel staff were not helpful and the service was poor.
