Ramada Plaza Hotel, Sharm El Sheikh

Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers who have recently holidayed at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. It has been reported that guests at the hotel being victim to symptoms of illness and a poorly maintained hotel. Most recent reports relate to holidays taken in January 2011.
 
It has been reported that holidaymakers were falling ill with symptoms of gastric illness, with some being too sick to leave their hotel rooms and others needing hospital attention. It is suggested that the poor quality of food and the lack of hygiene procedures are possibly to blame for the illness contracted by guests.
 
In particular, holidaymakers are complaining about the state of the dining areas, describing them as having dirty tables, sticky cutlery, dirty glasses and plates. Further complaints have been made in relation to the hotel rooms, with one guest reporting how they were shown to a number of rooms which did not meet a reasonable standard.
