Irwin Mitchell has received further reports of gastric illness amongst holidaymakers who travelled to the Tropicana Sea Beach in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in August 2011. We are concerned to learn of the illness, particularly given that we received reports of illness in May 2010.
The family from Liverpool said they want answers from Tour operator Thomson. Ms Madden said: "Like many people we had to work really hard to pay for our holiday. We had never been away for two weeks before and it was supposed to be special.'
It is reported that holidaymakers became ill possibly due to the failures in poor food hygiene standards at the hotel. Reported complaints about the hotel’s food included food being served cold and undercooked and food appeared to be reheated and served up on more than one occasion.
We also are currently acting on behalf of clients' who contracted similar symptoms of gastric illness following holidays taken at this hotel in 2009.
If you also travelled to this hotel and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be entitled to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.
