Guests have complained about being struck by gastric symptoms including vomiting and diarrhoea. For example, fish did not look cooked properly and food appeared to be reheated and served up on more than one occasion. The conditions at the hotel and epidemiology described would indicate that the likely source of the infection was contaminated food provided as part of their package holiday.
