Illness at Barcelo Hotel, Lanzarote

It  is reported that there has been issues relating to gastric illness for guests who travelled to the Barcelo Hotel in Lanzarote during Easter 2008. Holidaymakers travelling to the hotel during the above period have alleged that they suffered from symptoms of gastric illness allegedly due to food consumed at the hotel. They allege that meat was raw in places and appeared to be undercooked. It is thought that there has been a confirmed diagnosis of Salmonella amongst guests who returned from the hotel during the Easter period.
