It has come to our attention that a number of guests who travelled to the Majestic Colonial Hotel, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic became ill after their stay at the hotel in March 2008. It is thought that guests became ill with symptoms of stomach cramps and sickness after eating in the hotel restaurant.

It is alleged that illness was so serious in some cases that holidaymakers required medical treatment and that some continued to suffer from symptoms after their return from holiday.

Guests also allege a range of quality issues attributable to poor standards maintained by the hotel.
