Irwin Mitchell has recently been alerted to the fact that holidaymakers are returning from the Avillion Port Dickinson Hotel in Malaysia suffering from symptoms of gastric illness, believed to be food poisoning related. Most recent reports relate to holidays taken in January 2011.
It is reported that the restaurants at the hotel appear to be run down and in need of a re-vamp. It has been suggested that there were a large number of flies around the buffet area. These allegations would imply that the cause of the illness would be as a result of the lack of food hygiene standards practised at the hotel.
Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you if you have suffered from gastric illness after staying at this hotel.
