Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

Irwin Mitchell has received reports of illness amongst holidaymakers staying at the Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu, in  Malaysia during January 2012.

Reports have indicated that the food served at the hotel was of a very poor standard. One guest has described the food as “the worst food we have ever eaten at any hotel anywhere in the world.” They were particularly displeased with the pizza served at the hotel restaurant, a dish they thought they would be safe with. Shortly after consuming the food, the holidaymakers fell ill with suspected food poisoning.

The illnesses contracted could be due to a breakdown in food handling and food hygiene procedures.

The expert  international travel litigation team at Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from any guests of this hotel if they have suffered from illness or sustained an injury whilst staying at this hotel.

If you also travelled to this resort and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

It is an excellent settlement which my barrister said was down to the skill of my solicitor. I would never have realised that I had a claim for witnessing my daughter’s accident had I not received such good advice.
