Irwin Mitchell has received reports of significant numbers of holidaymakers being struck down by symptoms of gastric illness after staying at the Barcelo La Jolla De Mismaloya Hotel in Mexico in March 2010.
It is reported that many guests have suffered from symptoms of gastric illness including diarrhoea and stomach cramps and that some symptoms have been so severe that guests have required hospitalisation whilst abroad.
A range of quality issues are also alleged relating to poor standards of hygiene at the hotel and cutlery and glasses in the hotel bar/restaurant being dirty.
