Irwin Mitchell have received reports that holidaymakers who have recently returned from the El Dorado Royale, in Maya Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico, suffering from symptoms of gastric illness, believed to be food poisoning, following their stay at the hotel during January 2011.
It has been reported by one holidaymaker that he was violently sick after eating the fish dish at the hotel's Asian restaurant and that he resorted to seeing the hotel's doctor for treatment. Once his acute symptoms had ceased, he was left feeling weak.
Irwin Mitchell is particularly concerned as we had heard of illness at this hotel previously in 2006.
