Irwin Mitchell has received reports of illness amongst holidaymakers after staying at the Gran Palendium Colonial Resort and Spa in Mexico.
It is reported that a number of holidaymakers have fallen ill with diarrhoea and stomach cramps following their stay at the Grand Palendium Colonial in Mexico. It has been suggested that holidaymakers have suffered from salmonella poisoning. This infection is often caused by consuming contaminated food such as chicken and eggs. Reports suggest that the food on display was sub-standard and many holidaymakers suffered from symptoms of gastric illness after eating food provided by the resort. This is possibly as a result of the suggested breakdown in food handling and hygiene procedures.
