Irwin Mitchell is alarmed to hear that holidaymakers who have recently holidayed at the Hotel Marina El Cid Spa and Beach Resort, in Puerto Morelos, Mexico have reported that they fell ill during their stay at the resort or shortly after their return in December 2010.
It has been reported that three out of five holidaymakers in one group contracted the symptoms of illness, including diarrhoea and sickness, which may be due to the poor quality of food or poor hygiene standards practiced at the hotel.
