Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers who have recently stayed at the Villa Del Palmar Hotel in Mexico during February 2011.
Reports have indicated that holidaymakers are returning positive diagnoses of Salmonella poisoning, a bacterial infection which can cause severe symptoms of abdominal cramps, diarrhoea and vomiting, which can also result in permanent symptoms. It is believed that the illness may have been contracted from the food consumed at the hotel because of a breakdown in hygiene procedures.
