It has been reported that holiday makers have become ill with symptoms of gastric illness and cryptosporidium after staying at the White Sands Hotel in Mexico in August 2009.
Guests have reportedly become ill with symptoms of gastric illness and a confirmed case of cryptosporidium possibly due to poor standards of hygiene at the hotel and inadequate maintenance of the swimming pool. Guests claim that several of the buffet dishes were undercooked and left uncovered and guests allege that there were insects on and around the food and the restaurant area was dirty.
Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from anyone affected by this incident.
